Welcome Gizmodo!

Are We There yet?

The theme behind these articles was an idea I had for Wilson Rothman whom I was in contact with, about a follow up in sense to the y2k+10 series from a few months ago. The concept is we are ten years into the new millennium, where are the jet packs, laser watches, and Back to the Future Nikes. Aka the "ARE WE THERE YET?" series. Things that need to be remedied such as missile defense worthy of the Star Wars title, changes in the information-war, improving the F-22 against PAK-FA, an Ipad Killer from the future that's already here, more Google content problems that bring privacy to new lows, and a solution to the DARPA Credible Chase gunship program not inspired by Avatar. Thats a synopsis of the articles intended, with the F-22 defense issue being a two parter part one being less sensitive, and part two awaiting clearance. You can find almost all of these stories and more on these pages.
